Terms of Use

Effective date: October 28, 2026 · Last updated: October 28, 2026

Welcome to Dola. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Dola App Team ("Dola", "we", "us" or "our") and govern your use of the Dola mobile app, website and related services (the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Health notice. Dola is a community, not a medical service. Yoga and other physical activity carry a risk of injury. Talk to a doctor before starting a new practice, especially if you are pregnant, injured or have a health condition, and always practise within your own limits. See Section 6.

1. Eligibility

To use Dola you must:

If you stop meeting these requirements, you must stop using the Service and we may close your account.

2. Your account

3. Your licence to use Dola

As long as you follow these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Service for your own non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of the Service, or reverse engineer or try to extract its source code, unless the law allows it or we give you written permission.

Dola is for personal use. Studios, teachers and brands may not use personal accounts to advertise or sell, unless we offer a feature for that purpose and you follow its rules.

4. Community rules

Dola works because members treat each other with kindness and respect. When using the Service, you must not:

We may review, remove or restrict content and accounts that we believe break these rules, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities. You can report content or members in the app.

5. Your content

You own the content you post on Dola, such as photos, videos, posts and comments ("Your Content"), and you are responsible for it. You confirm that you have the rights needed to post it.

By posting Your Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sub-licensable licence to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt (for example, resize or translate) and distribute it, for the purpose of operating, improving and promoting the Service. This licence ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except where it has been shared with others who have not deleted it, or where we need to keep it for legal reasons.

We are not obliged to monitor content but may do so, including with automated tools, to keep the community safe.

6. Health and safety

7. Classes, events and meeting in person

Dola may let you find practice partners and create or join classes, challenges and meetups. Organisers are responsible for their events. We do not run, supervise or vet these events or the people who attend them, and we do not conduct criminal background checks on members.

Please take sensible precautions: meet in public places, tell a friend where you are going, and do not share financial information. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members, online and offline, and any costs (such as travel or studio fees) are your own.

9. Third-party services

The Service may include links to, or features provided by, third parties (such as sign-in providers, maps, payment platforms and advertisers). Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, content or products, and any dealings you have with them are between you and the third party.

10. Our intellectual property

The Service, including the Dola name and logo, design, software and content we create, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for Your Content and the licence in Section 3, these Terms do not give you any rights to it. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

If you believe content on Dola infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@dolapp.yoga including: your contact details; a description of the copyrighted work; where the infringing material appears on the Service; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We may remove the content and close the accounts of repeat infringers.

12. Changes, suspension and termination

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that any content is accurate or safe, or that you will find a partner, class or result you are looking for.

We are not responsible for the conduct of any member or other user, online or offline, or for any injury that results from practising yoga or other activities you learn about or arrange through the Service.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dola and its affiliates, officers, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or USD 100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

15. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dola and its affiliates, officers, employees and partners from any claims, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, your interactions with other members, or your breach of these Terms or the law.

16. Disputes and governing law

If you have a problem with the Service, please contact us first — most issues can be resolved quickly that way. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that we cannot resolve informally will be brought exclusively in the courts of the State of Delaware, United States, unless the law of the country where you live gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts. Claims must be brought on an individual basis and not as part of a class or representative action, to the extent permitted by law.
